A Letter To Myself

Dear blog,
So glad you are still here for me.  I started laying in bed at night and wondering if I didn't get back to you would you disappear, vanish and I would never know what really happens when one doesn't post in almost two months.  It's all my fault I have had a full and busy summer and
well that's just an excuse really I have had writers block.  I would sit and stare read others daily post and just not feel it in my soul to type another word.  Not sad, depressed nor happy and joyful just plain, I just felt like, there must be more inside that wanted to get out and be heard... then the light came on!

I don't just want to talk about junk. The world is spinning fast and I want to share more of my life the things that worry me while lying in bed at night or things that make me giggle at red lights and some inspiring and a lot rather boring but it's me.  Then it came to me like a second light

I can do both share my love for the junk and love for life not just the good and the sad but also the daily because is that not where we really show our true selves.

                                                                         Sincerely and Enthusiastically,
                            Lisa

  1. Lisa, When I found your blog site , I thought got to check this out. I started blogging because I loved junking and reworking things...but I just started writing about everyday life .That's what we really live. Not everyday can be a brilliant crafting idea..well not for this old lady. So please do write about your life , family and friends. Smiles to you, Susie

  3. Yes blog about what is going on. It does not have to be "my perfect..blah blah" everyday I have decided. I started my blog to say what I feel about certain things. So good luck and look forward to reading!

  10. Hey Sweet You....So good to hear from you. I was about ready to send out a search and rescue unit.

Really? We're supposed to blog about "topics" and "themes"? And we're supposed to be exciting??? Gee, no one told me the rules before I just jumped online. Seriously....I have a hard time with "sameness" on certain levels...I could never just blog about "hooking" or just "stitching" - or even just "crafting" in general....It happens to be whatever strikes my fancy at the time...or not. I, for one, will be happy to read whatever you blog...(besides, if you always blog about your cool junking finds, I get a little jealous...) ;o) Smiles & Big Hugs ~ Robin

  12. Good for you!!! I have weeks where I just don't "feel" like posting anything either. And that's okay. It's supposed to be a creative outlet, not a job. That's my mantra, anyway. Glad to have you back in the saddle again!

  13. I found that my readers became my friends and I write the same way I would sit talking to them around the kitchen table. Maybe no one knows what the heck my blog is about but it seems to work. Sooo - write what ever the heck moves you! ~ Maureen

  15. Lisa,
So glad you're back! I've been posting a lot less this summer also, a lot going on here also. I love reading your posts and seeing all the great things you find, but, junking is just one facet of your life, as far as I'm concerned, our blogs are for whatever strikes our fancy at any given moment, themes if we want, our life if we want, a mixture of both, whatever makes us happy! I know I would love to read anything you want to talk about, it's fun getting to know someone better! So.....feel free and carry on!
